We wish to congratulate Labour's Steve Rotheram who has been elected Metro Mayor of the Liverpool City Region. Steve Rotheram enjoyed a huge victory over the opposing candidates. Good luck to him in his new role as Liverpool City Region Mayor.
We can only hope he will be a friend to those concerned about development plans across St Helens, embracing the thoughts and concerns of all residents whilst using his newly ordained powers to influence those in council leadership to listen to their public.
